F8 Control is an application that enables remote control of the ZOOM F8/F8n/F8n Pro. Users can utilize an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch (5th generation and later) as a wireless remote controller for the F8/F8n/F8n Pro series. The application enables essential operations such as starting/stopping recording/playback, searching forward/backward, adjusting trim levels, and configuring mixer pan and fader settings. Additionally, users can monitor input levels, timecode information, and remaining battery charge via the app. Moreover, the app allows users to input characters from their iOS device to edit file names, add metadata, and transfer date and time information for use during recording.

Features:

Create monitor mixes easily: With multi-touch support on the mixer screen, users can efficiently create monitor mixes similar to working with a traditional mixer.
Control an F8/F8n/F8n Pro that is inside a protective case: Users can conveniently check and adjust levels while in the field without needing to access the F8/F8n/F8n Pro directly.
Input metadata: Conveniently input all types of metadata using the iOS device keyboard, including long entries without difficulty.
Set the date and time: Easily synchronize the date and time of the F8/F8n/F8n Pro with that of the iOS device for accurate time setting.
